SS1 Meuang Khong - Pai 175.97 km
The Rally route started from Chiang Mai and moves toward the northwest mountain road. SS is 175km, and the max time is 6 hours. Roads have tons of ups and downs that even some AUTO have difficulty climbing the hill when not using a small range of the low gear. The roads were also slippery due to the rain, which many MOTO racers have toppled. Rivers had to be crossed and with points where the rising river covers the hood of the cars. MOTO were able to avoid this by using the rope bridge, but some AUTO were grounded at these points.
