Today, AUG 11th will start from the Thailandfs eastern part aranyaprathet will be the loop course.

Today, the LEG2 SS will have total run of 385.95km SS will be 239.84km long distance. Middle of the course will have PC part set up, and could receive the service, but SS will the toughest course yet and will have long distance drive, plantation section, forest, dirt, and jungle course.

The weather is sunny and fine. Since the begging of the rally never rained, seems the rain will not fall soon even itfs a rainy season.

Therefore, the road condition is very dry this year. When the road condition is dry, there will be creating lots of different bad situation than muddy condition. The driver whose running first place will not have these problems but the cars following the first place car will have very difficulties to pass the other motorist because the dust created by the other motorist canft see front view. This part of the LEG 2 will have bumps, dirt road, and will not be easy for the suspensions on the car as well. This course also has one caution marks every section on the navigation map. The course will be tough and the road will not be a flat road as well.

The FEDERAL-FLEX ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY 2014 is not only tough on the cars and bikes, but to the crew as well. Even the cars or bikes made it through a rough course and get back to the finish line, but if the car does not sustain any damage to the cars or bikes, then crew can have relaxing dinner and breakfast and little bit of maintenance of their cars and bikes, but the challenger is challenging to the rally by then selves will not be so easy. They have to pull all night to make sure ready for next day.

At 7:00 am. Aranyaprathet, the bikes has made it start looking forward to hit the mark SS point of 92km. As for the bikes will be the course for it but not for the cars because the road is still bit narrow. This section of the SS will have it flat road (not like the Japanese road) Asphalt. This section can and could open up the throttle, but this section of the SS will pass through the some asphalt, dirt, and some jump spot need to be very cautious. Also this SS will pass through the villages so each driver has to maintain their speed limit followed by law.

At SS2, 133km will the PC service area and this place rally competitors could have little bit of rest and refuel up their cars and bikes to maintain the challenge up ahead. The challenger will have to make sure not to make off course or many mistake, because after the PC section will have the long distance drive a wait. So, there is no margin of error.

At SS2, seems no one had any major accident not like the SS1. But SS2 had been little bit tough on two wheelers, if the car get stuck on the muddy road, the car could simply winch up and could get out, but bikes are not so easy. So at SS2 we have encounter bikes are getting helps from the cars to getting their bikes out of the muddy road by winches.
