Aug 15th the FEDERAL-FLEX ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALL 2014, the final stage has began. After SS6 finish ceremony will be commencing. Therefore, the LEG6 will be cut short and total run will be 197.02km SS6 is total run of 51.02km. The rally its self is not yet finish and no one knows that what could happen, so no one can take of their "A GAME" just yet. Exciting LEG 6 SS6 starts.

Everyone start to leave the hotel at 7:30 a.m. and running through the Cambodia's big city of Phonm Penh. There not enough words to describe how sunny and very hot weather. This year's FEDERAL-FLEX ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY 2014 were very sunny days it was even in a rainy season. The sudden rain and road condition changes dramatically and making the red sand becoming the worse driving condition, but this year the rain never fall, and this year's rally become a high speed events, but rally has some different ups and downs due to the dry weather. Therefore, the harsh weather took its toll on the cars and bikes many parts. These harsh punishment to the cars and bikes soon to be making its end in this LEG6 stage. Whom, ever survives this rally is the true winner no matter what place you land on.
This SS6 course is very narrow and so many holes everywhere, and very Cambodia like types of road. The last SS6 LEG6 started. This last stage of the rally seems to have very fine flat road and going through the villages in high speed. Therefore, so many spectators are seems to gather to see the fine machine in action.
Since the LEG5 of SS5 done the total result is bike division first place #110 Keisuke MAEDA time total 6hours and 22min 01sec. The second place is #118 Koun Phandara time total of 8min and 50sec behind. The third place is #102 Tadao EZURE 10min and 28sec behind from the top, if the rest goes good then the Japanese overall win could passively happening.
As for the overall Japanese top place for the 4WD is #4 Takuma AOKI / lttipon asimaraks / Katsuhiko SHIINE Team. The third place will be the Vorapot BUNCHUAYLUEA / Chupong CHAIWAN Team 7min and 49sec behind. The time between the first place and the latest one is 59min and 10sec. no one could know what happens at the rally. The SS6 is very short at 51.02km, so this rally's first place is anybody's game.
Not until fat lady sings no one knows what could happen in a challenge #110 Keisuke MAEDA his bike got flat tire, but somehow he made it all through the rally and finishes with 8min and 50sec behind.
The final result for the SS6 is this, first place #107 Yoshio IKEMACHI 43min and 09sec. The second place is #117 Touch Thach time is 44min and 57sec. The Third place is #111 Kazuyoshi TAKAHASHI 46min and 21 sec.
The 4WD division winner is #6 Chumnan ON-SRI / Chonlanat PHOPIPAD / Chakkaphop thepyuhin Team time was 40min and 31sec. The second place went to #15 Takatsugu AOKI /Wuttichai THRITARA Team time was 42min and 10sec. The third place went to #7 Yoshiro ITO / Takeshi HIRAKA Team 43min and 00sec.
The FEDERAL-FLEX ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY 2014 overall winner for Bike division is #110 Keisuke MAEDA time is 7hours and 15min 16sec. The second place is #118 Koun Phandara time is 7hours and 20min 37sec. The third place went to #102 Tadao EZURE 7hours and 23min 39sec. Congratulations to all riders and we thank you for the dream.
The FEDERAL-FLEX ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY 2014 4WD overall winner is #11 Muttapon ANGRITTHANON / Peerapong SOMBUTWONG Team time is 10hours and 06min 35sec. The overall second place is #8 Wichawat CHOTIRAVEE / Athikij SRIMONGKHOL Team time is 10hours and 51min 32sec. The third place is #3 Vorapot BUNCHUAYLUEA / Chupong CHAIWAN 組Team time is 10hours and 57min 08sec. Congratulation to all the drivers and navigator!!!!!!!!!!
The Japanese top winner is #4 Takuma AOKI / lttipon asimaraks / Katsuhiko SHIINE Team in fourth place time is 11hours and 05min 08sec. Good job Japan!!!!!!!!!!!
The section SS6 has made it goal without no major incident and accident. Everyone has made through the journey. Everyone gather up at the middle of the city to honor everyone through the podium and greet each others, and everyone. The FEDERAL-FELX ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY 2014 finished with the total LEG runs of 931.28km and SS runs of 1055.2km(LEG0 including super SS).
